Harial - President
Most of you might know me from my ability to create pretty webpages for people but I decided to try something new. I started SL Publishing Group because I loved the idea of building my own publishing company and along the way, I got lucky and collected a wonderful staff. This page is dedicated to them moreso than me so I’ll let you hear their stories and hold off on my own for a bit.
Kali – Customer Service and Vice President
I’ve been online creating stories with people since the eighties in a form called MUSHing. (If you don’t know what it is, it is the proto version of things like Final Fantasy and WarCraft.) I still prefer MUSHing because it’s text based. Follow up:
I’ve been assisting with web/sites since around 2000. Around 2008, I met Harial online and ended up gaining a good friend and web teacher in her. I confess, sometimes when I call her it has nothing to do with work and everything to do with personal updates!
I very much enjoy my work with SL first as the Customer Service agent and second as Harial’s assistant (Vice President). I enjoy talking to fans and learning what they expect from us and what they want. I also am grateful when fans give me all sorts of comments including constructive criticism about the site, errors, and ideas for the site or our services so please feel free to email them to me at kali@slpublishinggroup.com! I love to hear from you!

Trudy – Forum Super Moderator and Editor
I’m known as Trudy aka tutyfrty and my pen name when I find time to write is GreenEyes or a variation of that usually.
I am a SLPG Editor for the chapter stories and novels. My only credentials are a love of reading (I read until all hours under the covers with a flashlight when I was a kid), getting As and Bs in English class, and writing my own stories (as GreenEyes or a variation of that) for almost as long as I have been reading.
I am a young (at least that is what I keep telling myself) 67 years. I live in the San Francisco/Bay Area with my wonderful husband who lets me write and read Yaoi all day and only asks to be fed a good cooked dinner once in a while.
I found yaoi and slash and photos of the yummieness of Bishounen about five years ago and hardly ever read anything else these days. I also discovered Anime about the same time I discovered that Boy Love Manga and Man/Man love stories are hot stuff and I'm addicted, only regret that it took me so long to discover all this wonderfulness.
I have been wearing an official Editor's hat for SLGP for about a year (not sure just how long ago but a year feels about right) starting out as a volunteer Beta for Kiix which I had been doing off and on (since discovering slash) for authors of other Yaoi sites also. After opening my mouth and saying that I really liked Kiix's stories but that she could use a beta, someone suggested that if I found a need, I should fill it. I did and it led to editing seriously (well I have always been serious about my editing efforts even as volunteer Beta) for SLPG and here I am enjoying every minute.
Last, Kali ramroded… er… convinced me to accept another job at SL: That of a super moderator on the forum. I’m still learning the job but… I’ll make it!

I've been reading and writing slash fiction for a few years now, and I have about a dozen stories of my own posted online over at FanFiction, under the pen-name of Mitts, and they are all about my favorite subject, Final Fantasy VII. I have even been lucky enough to have had one of my Final Fantasy stories translated into Russian and posted on a Russian website by a fan. Another author put one of my stories on his website but he didn’t put any other author’s stories up other than his own.
I don’t only write slash, a few years ago now, I entered a competition for a children's story. One of the rules said, you had to be an amateur author. As I've never had anything published, I wrote one, and sent it in, only to find myself rejected for the top spot because the judges said that I wrote, 'like a professional'. I didn't know whether to feel happy or sad. *LOL*
As well as reading and writing stories, I love nothing better than helping out other authors whose works grab my attention by offering to help them with anything from simple reviewing to getting more involved if/when the author wants or asks for it. If I am extremely lucky, I find a friend in that author, and I have to say that I have been extremely lucky in this way several times.
My favorite stories are dark angsty ones. I love master/slave themes. Doms and subs. Semes and ukes. And yaoi...has to be yaoi. I love yaoi manga and anime, and have many, many of them saved to my computer. Ai no Kusabi is one of my favorites.

Since 1985, I’ve been reading slash/yaoi which was actually what got me back into looking at anime and reading manga. If you were wondering, I’ve been an anime fan since the 70s when I watched “Speed Racer.”
I got my start editing when someone requested assistance in editing their fan fiction in 2005 on Fanfiction.net and I was hooked! I decided to earn a certification in editing and received it in 2009 from the University of Washington.
Now I am working as an editor for SL Publishing Group on various projects.
